I just read a note on Mike Leaphart's Bald Rhetoric that September 26 - October 2nd is banned books week. So, check out this list of the 100 most frequently banned books, pick one out, and read it! I can't believe how many classics are on this list: Brave New World, The Outsiders, Huckleberry Finn, The Catcher In The Rye ..... to name a few. Also, check out this cool essay by author Judy Bloom.
